The test magnet is super easy to use whether you’re checking your CELLER8 controller or one of our mats. We recommend using the Morning program for testing, as its quicker frequencies tend to create more of a response with the magnet.
For the CELLER8, simply move the strap aside and place the magnet over the back of the device. For the mats, locate one of the three coil areas in each section (arranged in a triangle shape) and hold the magnet over it.

What is the test magnet for?
Because you can’t see or feel the PEMF field directly, the test magnet acts as a simple way to confirm your CELLER8 device or mat is working. When you hold it over an active coil or applicator, the magnet will gently move with each pulse, giving you a clear, visible sign that your device is operating correctly.
How do I use the test magnet?
Turn on your CELLER8 and select the Morning program. Hold the magnet close to the back of the controller or over one of the coil areas on your mat. You’ll feel it gently move with each pulse, this shows the magnetic field is active.
The test magnet doesn’t move much on the CELLER8?
This is also absolutely normal and doesn’t mean your CELLER8 controller is faulty. The reason for this is that although the controller is double the strength, the coil inside is very different to the coils in the mat and the magnetic field is much more targeted in a smaller spot. The coils in the mat are large and wide and they give a really wide magnetic field which is perfect for moving the magnet and treating the body. The coil in the controller is tested to 100 guass but it is much smaller and thinner but uses more power from the battery and therefore gives a more focussed energy but annoyingly it doesn’t make the magnet react as the mat does. Rest assured however, the controller is still double the strength of the mat and this is very normal.
