Your health starts at a cellular level.
When your cells are healthy, your body can operate its best. Cells truly are the building blocks of all tissues, organs and systems (from your immune response and energy production to brain function and detoxification). When your cells aren’t functioning properly, it can cause inflammation, poor circulation, and even lead to fatigue.
So, what do healthy cells look and sound like?
Healthy cells maintain a strong membrane, a balanced electrical charge, and can absorb nutrients, while getting rid of any waste. They also communicate effectively with each other, and produce energy, also known as ATP.
If your cells aren’t functioning well, you won’t either! This is why supporting our cellular health shouldn’t be overlooked. Technologies like PEMF, if used consistently, can help to ‘recharge’ your cells by working with the body’s natural electrical charge.
The Science Behind PEMF
PEMF, which stands for pulsed electromagnetic field, therapy uses electromagnetic fields to work at a cellular level, stimulating the cells in our body helping to promote better function and overall wellbeing.
Research has shown that PEMFs can positively impact key processes in the body, including circulation, energy production, and cellular communication. This is how…
Circulation & Oxygenation
One of PEMFs biggest benefits is its ability to help increase circulation in the body. PEMF has been found to stimulate the dilation of blood vessels, in turn helping to improve circulation and oxygen delivery to tissues. One study found that PEMF therapy led to increased capillary blood flow and reduced blood viscosity, which can aid faster healing and reduced inflammation.
Another study found that PEMFs also helped to improve oxygenation within tissues, and this is essential for cellular repair and energy (ATP) production.
ATP Production (Energy)
Another key benefit of PEMF therapy is that it can help to boost ATP production. ATP is often referred to as the ‘powerhouse of the cell’ and is essential for cells to repair, function, and for overall vitality. A study found that exposure to PEMF increased ATP in mitochondria, which then helps to support energy levels and cellular regeneration.
By enhancing ATP production, PEMF helps our bodies to recover better, which can especially help those recovering from injuries, managing chronic fatigue, or those just experiencing low energy levels.
Live Blood Analysis, Before & After PEMF Therapy
Live blood analysis is a method where a drop of blood is examined under a microscope immediately after being drawn. This allows us in real time to look at the blood cell shape, movement, and behaviour. It can give insights into circulation, immune function, and overall health.
Something that is common in live blood analysis is rouleaux stacking, this is where red blood cells stick together in a ‘stack of coins’ like pattern. When this happens, it can indicate a few things such as poor circulation and dehydration, making it harder for oxygen to be delivered efficiently to tissues. You may also see that some blood cells appear in irregular shapes, which is a sign of cellular stress. When cells are clumped together or irregular in shape, this may also suggest that there is inflammation, chronic illness, or oxidative stress.
In a healthy blood sample, blood cells typically appear rounder and more uniform in shape. This is a sign that the cells are functioning properly and not under stress. Healthy red blood cells should also be spaced appropriately, allowing them to move freely and carry oxygen efficiently. The presence of clearly defined rounded cells with appropriate spacing suggests a healthy ion exchange. This is crucial for maintaining cellular function, as the proper exchange of ions (like sodium, potassium, and calcium) helps regulate cell behaviour, communication, and overall vitality.
Below, you can see a real-life example of the effect that just one session using the CELLER8 PEMF device had on blood cells. In the before image, you can observe some stacking of cells, as well as some not being round. In the after image, you can see that the cells are no longer clumped together. The sample taken after the PEMF session shows a very healthy balance of positive and negative ions, shown by the rounded shape of the cells!
