Real-World Sleep Study: What We Found About PEMF & Sleep

Better sleep doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through routine, consistency, and small signals that help the body settle.

At CELLER8, we wanted to understand how PEMF fits into real sleep routines, and not in a lab, but in everyday life.

We asked our community to track their sleep with or without PEMF, including how long it took them to fall asleep, how often they woke, and how rested they felt the next morning.

Over a two-week period, 9 participants tracked their sleep habits, routines, and PEMF usage in real-world conditions.

To better understand how PEMF may influence sleep in real world conditions, participants tracked a range of sleep and lifestyle factors over a two-week period. Throughout the study, participants recorded:

- Sleep quality

- Sleep depth

- Restfulness and recovery

- Number of night-time wake-ups

- Time taken to fall asleep

- PEMF usage duration and placement

We also measured lifestyle factors such as alcohol intake, stress, travel, and disrupted routines. This allowed us to compare not just PEMF vs non-PEMF, but also how sleep changed within real day-to-day routines.

What the Data Revealed

21% higher sleep quality reported with PEMF (4.0/5 vs 3.3/5 average rating)

78% of participants fell asleep in under 10 minutes when using PEMF

62% of PEMF nights resulted in zero or just one mid-night wake-up

The Most Common Benefits Reported During The Study

In addition to the measurable improvements shown above, participants most frequently reported:

✓ Improved sleep quality
✓ Falling asleep faster
✓ Staying asleep longer
✓ Feeling more rested in the morning

91%

of participants said they would continue using PEMF for sleep after the study

Why CELLER8 for Sleep?

Sleep is one of the most important times for recovery. During sleep, the body carries out countless processes involved in repair, restoration and overall wellbeing.

CELLER8's Night Program uses frequencies in the delta range (1–4 Hz), the same frequency range associated with deep sleep. Many users choose to use this program as part of their evening routine or overnight whilst they sleep.

Research into PEMF therapy has explored its potential effects on sleep quality, sleep duration and overall wellbeing, making it one of the most studied wellness applications of PEMF technology.

The findings from this study add to a growing body of research investigating the relationship between PEMF and sleep.

While no two individuals are the same, the combination of improved sleep quality scores, faster sleep onset, fewer night-time wake-ups and positive participant feedback highlights why sleep remains one of the most popular reasons people incorporate PEMF into their wellness routines.
