Red Light: Uses wavelengths between 630nm to 700nm, which fall within the visible red spectrum. Red light wavelengths penetrate the skin up to a depth of about 5-10 millimetres, making them effective for treating superficial tissues and promoting cellular regeneration.
Blue Light: Uses wavelengths between 400nm to 500nm, falling within the visible blue spectrum. Blue light penetrates the skin up to 1 millimetre, making it ideal for treating surface-level issues such as acne and skin inflammation. It works by targeting bacteria and reducing inflammation on the skin’s surface.
Near-Infrared (NIR): Uses wavelengths between 700nm to 1100nm, which are beyond the visible red spectrum. NIR light penetrates deeper into the body, reaching depths of up to several centimetres. This makes it effective for treating deeper tissues such as muscles and joints.
