The Technical Side of CELLER8

Our Waveform & Slew Rate

Waveform design is one of the most overlooked aspects of the PEMF industry. Many devices focus heavily on intensity or frequency, but physics tells us that one of the most important factors is actually how quickly the magnetic field changes over time. According to Faraday’s Law, a changing magnetic field induces an electrical field in nearby conductive material, including the human body. What determines how much energy is transferred is the slew rate, or how quickly the signal rises from zero to its peak. Our waveform was carefully engineered to deliver an optimal slew rate of up to 68 T/s, optimal slew rate are able to induce stronger electrical responses in tissues while remaining comfortable and efficient to use. Many experts consider slew rate one of the most important parameters in PEMF design, as it plays a key role in how effectively a pulsed magnetic field interacts with the body.

Our Intensity

CELLER8’s intensity range wasn’t chosen at random, it was chosen to align with the range most widely supported in PEMF research. A systematic review covering 92 studies from 1999–2019 found that magnetic flux densities between 10–100 gauss produced the strongest cellular responses, with this medium-intensity range showing greater overall effectiveness than both lower and higher intensities. This is the same range CELLER8 operates within, supporting what many researchers consider the PEMF “sweet spot” strong enough to stimulate a meaningful cellular response, without pushing beyond the levels most commonly used in successful studies.

Our copper coils

CELLER8 is built using thick, donut-shaped copper coils, which are widely regarded as one of the most effective designs for producing a uniform PEMF field. In a PEMF system, the coils act like the “speakers” that deliver the signal to the body, meaning their design plays a major role in coverage and penetration. Larger circular coils allow the magnetic field to spread more evenly and penetrate deeper into tissue, while full copper construction helps maintain a strong, consistent signal. Unlike many PEMF devices on the market that rely on ferrite rods or smaller coil designs, CELLER8 uses fully engineered copper coils to create a more balanced electromagnetic field with fewer hot or cold spots, helping deliver more consistent coverage across the body during each session.

Many products on the market claim to combine PEMF with a long list of other therapies infrared heat, crystals, negative ions, red light, and more but in reality this often results in a device that does many things poorly rather than one thing well. Why Localised Application

Reduce Inflammation 

This blood sample offers a visual example of how inflammation can appear before and after a single 20-minute session with CELLER8 PEMF. In this sample from a healthy woman in her 50s, the blood analyst observed multiple white, irregular shapes in the before image on the left. Within this type of analysis, these lighter areas are typically interpreted as general signs of inflammation. It’s easy to imagine how these patterns might present even more prominently in someone living with chronic illness and inflammatory conditions. In the after image, on the right, taken immediately following a CELLER8 session, these white areas appeared noticeably reduced.

Increase Oxygen Levels

This dry blood sample offers a visual look at how oxygen levels can appear before and after a single 20-minute CELLER8 PEMF session. The blood samples were taken from a healthy woman in her 50s. In the first image, the blood analyst noted a noticeably pale tone throughout the sample. Within this form of analysis, lighter colouring is often interpreted as a sign of lower or sub-optimal oxygenation. In the image taken immediately after the CELLER8 session, the sample shows a much deeper, richer red. This shift in colour is typically associated with higher oxygenation in dry blood analysis.

Increase White Blood Cell Count

This live blood sample, from a healthy woman in her 50s, highlights how white blood cell activity appeared before and after a single 20-minute CELLER8 PEMF session. In the initial image, the analyst observed only a small number of white blood cells, and the ones present showed very little movement a sign of reduced motility within this form of analysis. In the image taken immediately after the CELLER8 session, white blood cells appeared in greater numbers and showed noticeably higher activity. The analyst observed them moving across the sample with much more energy and definition, indicating increased motility and a more dynamic presence under the microscope.

Separating Blood Cells

Here is an example of the effect CELLER8 had on blood cells after just one session. In the left image, we see the blood of a healthy man in his 30s before any PEMF treatment. You can observe some Rouleaux stacking (clumping of blood cells) which would be even more prominent in someone with a chronic condition. In the right image, after just one 20 minute session of CELLER8 PEMF therapy, the blood cells are no longer clumped together, and they display a more healthy, rounded shape. This transformation has several benefits, including improved circulation, enhanced cellular oxygenation, better detoxification, and increased immune function. Unstacked blood cells flow more freely, allowing for more efficient oxygen and nutrient delivery, improved energy levels, and better support for the body's natural healing processes.

Increase Oxygen Levels

Here is an example of the effect a 20-minute CELLER8 session can have on blood oxygen levels. Oxygen levels were measured using an OxiPro, a clinical-grade pulse oximeter commonly used by the NHS for accurate monitoring. The individual in this case has COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) a long-term lung condition that restricts airflow and reduces oxygen saturation. Due to their condition, they were not a candidate for HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy), but after just one CELLER8 PEMF session, their oxygen levels showed a noticeable improvement, rising from below-average to within the normal range. This result highlights CELLER8’s potential as a non-invasive support for oxygen uptake and circulation, not only for those with chronic respiratory conditions, but also for anyone seeking to improve their overall oxygenation, energy, and cellular function.
